Jeffrey Bossin was born in 1950 in Santa Monica, California. He is a musicologist,
campanologist, and founder member of the Association of Campanological Art in
Russia. He represents Germany in Eurocarillon. In 1986 he drew up the technical
specifications for the carillon at the Congresshall in Berlin, on which he has given
regular concerts since 1987. He has also given special concerts for the World Bank
Meeting in Berlin in 1989, the official midnight ceremony of the reunification of
Germany in 1990, and for Christos Wrapped Reichstag in 1995, and has premiered
several new carillon compositions by European and American composers. He plays
guest recitals in Europe and the USA, and his concerts have been broadcast on radio
and TV in several countries. He is author of several publications about carillons
and gives regular lectures in the subject.
