Inleiding op GIS - E - A*
Variaties op ‘Ic arm haesken’ (Me, Poor Little Hare)*
Lied — the hare’s happy birthplace, at home, idyllic.
Menuet — the young happy-go-lucky hare frolics without a care.
Scherzando — a hare of good birth, elegant, in the courting mode.
Adagio — contemplation; moulting time; nature can be hard. A great number of relatives have been lost – sobering thought.
Finale — successful in life, hare strides confidently into the open field … and has to run for his life. Hare pie will be for tomorrow!
