Hans U Hielscher has been Director of Music and Carillonneur at Wiesbaden Marktkirche, Germany, since 1979. He is a graduate of Detmold Musikhochschule (Germany) and studied the carillon at the Nederlandse BeiaardSchool in Amersfoort (The Netherlands). He has been active in teaching, composing for various media and performing recitals on organs and carillons throughout Europe, USA, Far East, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
